Kylie Minogue prides herself as one of the musical influences of rising pop phenomenon Lady Gaga.
Kylie got her start on the Australian soap Neighbors in the 1980s, and has been putting down tracks on wax since Gaga was in diapers. Nonetheless, the singer doesn’t mind being compared to her “Paparazzi” pop counterpart and is proud to think her early work has inspired the young superstar.
Just so you know, Kylie Minogue is still dating that hot Spanish guy. On Wednesday, the pop princess hit her Twitter page to dismiss British tabloid reports that her relationship with European model Andres Velencoso Segura is on the rocks after a recent argument over whether or not he was being supportive enough ahead of the launch of the singer’s new album, Aphrodite.
“Wowza…love life rumors have gone mad ….please pay no attention peeps. My birthday was magical with AV and friends!!” the “La La La Girl” Tweeted.
Minogue and Segura were photographed holding hands as they flew into New York’s JFK Airport yesterday afternoon.
