The Kid from The Motor City will be subjected to a barrage of brutal jokes about his long hair and fedora when the Comedy Central Roast of Kid Rock tapes on Sunday, Aug. 14.
“American Badass” Kid Rock is at the center of a controversy that involves rock ‘n roll, a historic civil rights organization, and the ugly past that follows the Confederate flag.
The Motor City’s own Kid Rock will be hosting this year’s CMT Music Awards, airing live from Nashville on June 9.
Kid Rock is no fan of Twitter. The rapping rock star is stirring up controversy this Wednesday,thanks to his politically-incorrect remarks about the microblogging site in a new interview with Rolling Stone Magazine.
“It’s gay. If one more person asks me if I have a Twitter, I’m going to tell them, ‘Twitter this [bleep], mother[bleep]er. I don’t have anything to say, and what I have to say is not that relevant. Anything that is relevant, I’m going to bottle it up and then squeeze it onto a record somewhere.”
If GLAAD doesn’t release a statement on this before the end of the week, we’ll be shocked.
