It’s curtains for Khloe Kardashian’s ill-fated run as a host on the ratings-challenged Fox talent show The X Factor. On Monday, series producers confirmed that Extra host Mario Lopez will return for a second season as host of Factor, this time without his one-time second banana, Khloe.

Khloe Kardashian is lashing out at claims her hoopster husband Lamar Odom failed to donate money raised through his charity to cancer research. On Monday, the L.A. Clippers star was accused of pocketing money raised through his Cathy’s Kids Foundation.

The organization was set up in 2004 with the intention of raising money for underprivileged kids in Odom’s native New York and Los Angeles as well as for cancer research. Cathy’s Kids was named in honor of Lamar’s late mother, who died of stomach cancer when the future sportsman was just 12.

According to The New York Post, Mario Lopez will return to host Simon Cowell’s competition show but reality star, Khloe Kardashian will not. Just sneaking in under the wire…some of the biggest celeb news of 2012…Kim Kardashian and her new beau, Kanye West, are expecting a baby.

The proud papa-to-be, made the announcement during a concert last night in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Kim is about 12 weeks along with the first child for each of the new parents.
