Kevin Federline and Britney Spears are both under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS), according to reports. The former couple are due back in court on Monday ) to continue child custody negotiations, and the DCFS will appeal to Commissioner Scott Gordon to open the files regarding the care of Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney Spears and ex-hubby Kevin Federline spent Thanksgiving Thursday ”mostly screaming obscenities at each other — all in front of their kids, too,” according to recent tabloid repots and it appears Brit’s propensity for spraying off words like ‘Fuck,’ ‘Bitch,’ and ‘Cunt’ are making a lasting impression on her two year old son Sean Preston.

”Though Britney keeps telling Sean to stop, whenever she hears him swearing, it’s clear she thinks it’s cute and kind of funny,” a Spears insider claims.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are heading back to court this week. K-Fed has petitioned the court for an emergency custody hearing after Brit was videotaped surfaced of running a red light in Los Angeles on Nov. 8. Her court-appointed monitor was in the car with her sons in the backseat.

“Ms. Spears was being mobbed by paparazzi at the time,” her attorney Sorrell Trope tells PEOPLE. “She was distracted. This was not blatant irresponsible driving on her part.”
