
If you are a fan of Kenny Chesney, you know that the country super-star has had a love affair with the city of Boston.
Foxboro, Mass has become the official ‘Chesney final tour-stop’ typically closing out his mega-summer tours with a 2-day concert in the Boston suburb.
Now, Kenny is extending his hand to those that were so tragically affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. Chesney has started, Spread the Love, a foundation that will be working with Boston Medical Center to help those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. The fund will assist victims with medical bills and help fund expensive surgeries and prosthetics that so many were forced to need after the bombings injured hundreds.
Aside from starting the foundation with a donation from himself, Kenny will also be donating ALL sales from a new single, Spread the love, which features The Wailers, to the fund. “It’s hard to imagine a world where taking your children to school, going to the movies or witnessing something as iconic as the Boston Marathon is a dangerous thing to do,” Chesney says. “For me, I want to help give these people as much of their lives back as possible, but I’d also like to counteract some of the negativity in the world… Remind people that there are more good people out there, and it’s up to us to ‘Spread the Love.” Read the rest of this entry »

3-time Grammy Winner and Country Music Superstar, Tim McGraw is embarking on a huge summer tour, beginning next week in Tampa, Florida. McGraw will be teaming up with close friend, Kenny Chesney, for the 2012 Brothers of the Sun Tour. The tour has already sold over 1.5 million tickets will play several NFL stadiums around the country.
In addition to performing for sold out crows, Tim is putting his personal stamp on each city. Tim has partnered with Chase to launch, Homefront, a program that will give away 25-mortgage free homes to wounded Military Veterans in each city he and Chesney perform in. “My sister’s a veteran of the first Gulf War.
