Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland is forging her third attempt at solo stardom with the release of a new techo-inspired dance album, featuring production by French music sensation David Guetta — who teamed up with Kellz on the 2009 charttopping ballad “When Love Takes Over.” Here we have a video for her latest single, “Commander.” The Grammy Award-winning singer and Guetta have again struck dancefloor gold with their latest collaboration — created with the help of songwriter Rico Love.

Kelly’s third studio album is slated for release in September.

Pop and hip-hop producer Scott Storch is reportedly peeved that none of his A-list lady friends, like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Kelly Rowland, or Britney Spears, bothered to show up at his birthday party at Miami’s Mansion Nightclub last month.

“Kelly Rowland was supposed to come and sing a special ‘Happy Birthday’ to him and she was a no-show, too,” a source at Page Six reports.

Reps for Scott say “quite the contrary.” “Scott was not upset at all – he had Derek Jeter and Ludacris there, and a naked girl even popped out of the cake.”
