This just in: Former American Idol Kelly Clarkson will reportedly sing the U.S. National Anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” at next month’s Super Bowl in Indianapolis.

The NFL is expected to reveal the Super Bowl anthem singer later this month.

The big championship game goes down Feb. 5.

A bevy of Kelly Clarkson’s fan hit the roof after the former American Idol endorsed controversial Texas congressman Ron Paul for the Republican presidential nomination.
