Music star, Kelly Clarkson announced via Twitter yesterday that she and her boyfriend, Brandon Blackstock, are now engaged.

The Breakaway songstress, has been dating Blackstock since January. Kelly performed God Bless America at the Superbowl and Blackstock had just become single. Brandon is the step-son of Reba McEntire and the son of Kelly’s manager and Reba’s hubby, Narvel. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s official! Kelly Clarkson is off the market.

Kelly tweeted her exciting news tonight, confirming that she and boyfriend, Brandon Blackstock are now engaged. “I’M ENGAGED!!!!!” she announced on Twitter. “I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever.”

Kelly has been dating country superstar, Reba McEntire’s step-son for the last year. Reba’s husband and manager, Narvel (Who also happens to be Kelly’s manager) is Brandon’s father. Kelly has been hinting that the pair were talking about a wedding. She recently told Ellen that they would elope when the time came.

Congrats to Kelly and Brandon!

Kelly Clarkson has one of the best voices in music and now it seems her personal life has hit a high note as well.

Kelly Clarkson has been allowing fans to Tweet cover requests during her summer tour. Kelly has closed every show with songs from Broadway, Country, Pop and now she’s taking a stab at Rap.

Kelly joked with the crowd before she began performing Eminem’s Lose Yourself saying, “When you sing with Eminem in the car, you are pretty badass but it’s a different story to perform it by yourself.”

Lots of words in this song and it’s a huge challenge to sing but what do you think of Kelly’s performance? I think No Doubt’s Don’t Speak from earlier on tour is still my personal favorite.

Move over, Aretha! Kelly Clarkson believes her fellow American Idol winner Carrie Underwood would make a great judge on the pop star search show following the recent departures of pundits Stephen Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.
