The “I Kissed A Girl” singer found herself the victim of mistaken identity after a group of fans in Los Angeles pegged her as the 500 Days Of Summer actress during a weekend trip to Pinkberry.
In April, Zoey complained that she is routinely mistaken for Katy. Katy vented about the incident in a post on her Twitter page Sunday, writing: “Fuck. I’m outside minding my own business eating pinkberry & some s**tz yell out the car ‘Zooooooeeey Desccchanel’ FML, welcome to LA.”
This just in: Pop hitmaker Katy Perry has agreed to be one-time guest judge on the ninth season of American Idol, kicking off in January, FOX executives announced on Thursday.
Uh-oh. Add one more person to the mounting list of celebrities ticked off over Katy Perry’s 2008 bi-curious anthem “I Kissed A Girl.” Singer/songwriter Jill Sobule is more than a little upset that KP swipped the title of her 1995 single and penned an international sensation.

Katy Perry was left shaken after a man broke into her tour bus on Thursday night.
The pop star, who is currently on a summer tour of Europe, was performing on stage in Brighton, England, when her bus was targeted by a burglar.
The thief’s efforts proved unsuccessful after local authorities caught him before he could make off with any of Katy’s belongings.
“Someone just broke into our bus, they got caught. Luckily all there is is glitter, catsuit outfits, fruit & a box set of Ab Fab. Sux fer (sic) them,” Katy wrote in a Tweet posted to her Twitter page overnight.
