ABC has confirmed reports that actress Katie Holmes will appear in one episode of Eli Stone when the ABC drama returns to the tube for its second season the Fall.
“She was fabulous at the table read. There’s some singing and dancing that she does – its exquisite,” ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson said at the Television Critics Association in Beverly Hills Wednesday.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will splash out $200,000 a month to live in Manhattan’s swank Trump Towers during the actress’ brief engagement in the Broadway production of All My Sons this Fall. Tom and Katie, along with daughter Suri, will move into a two-story duplex in Donald Trump’s celebrity hi-rise.
“She saw it and she loved it,” says Michael Cohen, the Towers’ building manager.

Mrs. Cruise is so conscious about keeping things clean for two year-old daughter Suri the actress recently spent nearly a half-hour “sanitizing” a playground where the tot wanted to play. Katie attacked the swing set, jungle gym and benches at the Pasadena, California playground with a fully-loaded bottles of sanitizer and disinfectant, an on-site spy tells the National Enquirer.
“Katie was almost like a one-woman hazmat crew-wiping and spraying everything is Suri could come in contact with.”
Katie Holmes’ Broadway debut is turning into a box office disaster. Ticket sales for Katie’s performance as Ann Deever in the revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons have been poor, according to an article in the New York Post on Wednesday. The show, opening in September, has reportedly earned less than $1 million in sales revenue.

Katie Holmes made like a good stepmother and sent the former Mrs. Tom Cruise a gift of baby gifts for her soon-to-debut bundle of joy. Katie sent Nicole Kidman “a deluxe gift basket filled with onesies, stuffed toys, a baby blanket and more from Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.”
