We never would have made Kate Walsh for the “angry cheerleader” type, but the Private Practice star recalled her days as one of the high school elite on The Tonight Show Wednesday.
Kate Walsh — best known for her role as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery on the ABC medical dramas Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice — is helping Cadillac unveil its new 2010 CTS Sport Wagon in an elegant ad that premiered on Tuesday.
As we’re sure many of you already know, General Motors — the American institution responsible for Cadillac, Chevy, and your Grandma’s old Buick — filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this week. Needless to say, GM can use all the help it can get at this point.
Kate Walsh didn’t plan on her marriage to Alex Young ending after only 15 months.
“I don’t think anyone gets married thinking that they will get divorced. We certainly did not,” the Private Practice star says in the March issue of Redbook. “Alex and I still care for each other, and I wish him nothing but the best.”
Kate fears her insecurity may have fueled the split. “I second-guess myself all the time. I make a decision and then wonder if I made the wrong choice. Sometimes I come off as confident, but really I am a quivering little wharf rat underneath who is radically insecure and deeply in need of love and understand.”
Less than a month after the collapse of her year-old marriage, celebrity chatter claims actress Kate Walsh may soon lose her job as well. Read the rest of this entry »
