British singer Matt Bellamy, whom most of you had never heard of before he hit the paternal jackpot by knocking up actress Kate Hudson, took to Twitter to announce their new son’s name:

So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham “Bing” Hawn Bellamy. Born 7Ib 12Oz, on 9th July.

Bingham? Bing Bellamy? Do they WANT this kid to be pushed down on the playground?

But apparently the choice wasn’t pretentiously ridiculous, like Gwyneth Paltrow’s spawn Apple. Nor was it a direct path to a certain life of porn, like Penn Jillette’s unfortunately-named daughter Moxie Crimefighter.

Temps are on the rise and a Celebrity Baby Boom has hit the Hollywood Scene this weekend: After three sons, singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham gave birth to a healthy baby girl — her first daughter — at a hospital in Los Angeles this morning. Kate Hudson’s baby may come before the Something Borrowed star actually makes a second trip down the aisle, but that hasn’t stopped the pleasingly-plump and expecting actress from getting all guised up in anticipation of her pending nups to Muse rocker Matthew Bellamy. Kate, 32, flashed an impressive 9-carat bauble on The TODAY Show Wednesday, where she confirmed her engagement to a beaming Matt Lauer.
