“Call me, Kate!” File this under “Unlikely Couples.”
We hear Mario Lopez has the hots for the Original Reality Octomom, Kate Gosselin! According to a scoop featured in the Nov. 23 issue of GLOBE, the notorious womanizer was spotted flashing his double dimples at the soon-to-be divorcee as the pair laughed and chatted at the 2009 California Women’s Conference in Long Beach last month.
What did Kate Gosselin have to say on last night’s TLC special?
The reality-starring Octomom opened up to NBC News’ Natalie Morales in a new special called Her Story. In the candid chat, which aired Monday night on TLC, the mother of eight revealed that her inner circle is shrinking daily
“[I trust] a very, very small group of people,” Kate told Natalie. “You almost can’t blame me. When you look around and very close trusted people who would never cash you in, for lack of better words, and those people do that and people leave your house and tell completely different stories, you tend not to trust people.”
Kate says the demise of her 10-year marriage to Jon “happened so quickly … At the end of the day, I looked at him and he looked at me, and we were completely different people.” The 34-year-old acknowledges that she emasculated Jon, 32, “to a degree” during the union.
“I was wrong to treat him that way. Was it good, healthy and wonderful? No. Am I proud of those moments that were captured? No,” she says.

Paging Nurse Gosselin! Reality Octomom Kate Gosselin has renewed her registration as a nurse with the Pennsylvania Department of State.
On Oct. 26, Gosselin filed documents to renew her nursing license, which had been set to expire Oct. 31, The Insider reports. Before finding fame on the TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate completed nursing school at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania. That’s where she worked as a labor and delivery room nurse before leaving to pimp out her child army of twin girls and sextuplets on TV.
Would anyone actually want Kate Gosselin as their nurse? She’s beginning to remind me of Kathy Bates in Misery…… Read the rest of this entry »
Kate Gosselin is already the star of her own ill-fated reality series, but has the suddenly-single Octomom set her sights set on the silver screen?
During Monday’s episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate took on “any and all reasonable questions” from viewers, including one about her future employment prospects. “I’ve done enough years on TV that I feel like it’s a normal, comfortable, natural place to be,” she said. “I’d love to be in a movie at some point, I’d love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.”
If her acting is anything like the limp noodle she called interviewing skills during her guest-hosting tenure on The View, we’re in trouble……
Kate will be appearing in a one-hour TLC special where the reality mom of eight will be answering viewers’ questions about her life and family, The Baltimore Sun confirmed this afternoon.
News of the special comes less than a week after TLC filed a lawsuit against Jon Gosselin for breach of contract and announced it was pulling the plug on the family’s half-hour docuseries Jon & Kate Plus 8.
TLC’s Kate Gosselin Special airs next Monday, Oct. 26.
“Jon & Kate Plus 8 is ending in mid-to-late November, as previously reported,” a TLC spokeswoman told The New York Post Wednesday. Last month, the network announced that the once-popular show would be renamed “Kate Plus 8″ beginning Nov. 2 after the breakup of Jon and Kate Gosselin. TLC has since decided to cease producing new episodes of the series, particularly since Jon Gosselin, 32, forbade the network from filming his eight children for their show.
TLC will try to squeeze out a couple remaining episodes from existing footage before putting the show to rest, sources say.
Sounds like someone will be dropping off a big deposit at the bank this Wednesday. Reality Octodad Jon Gosselin has been ordered by the arbitrator in his vicious divorce battle with estranged wife Kate to return $180,000 in marital funds to the checking account the exes share, TMZ.com reported Tuesday.
The stars of the TLC reality soap opera Jon & Kate Plus 8 ventured to court in Norristown, Pennsylvania this morning, where a judge ruled that Jon must pay Kate $180,000 of the $230,000 she says he took out of their account by Oct. 2, or face contempt charges.
A bitter public feud with her estranged husband Jon didn’t stop reality mom Kate Gosselin from poking fun at her “Mommy” image in a comedy skit that aired The Jay Leno Show Wednesday.
In the skit, faux-photogs from Mike Day’s JMZ crew mob Kate’s car in a grocery store parking lot. “Seriously, I am exhausted. Leave me alone,” she scowls at them. “Hey, what did Mommy say? I asked you to stop taking pictures and you continued.”
She tells one photog “go to your room,” but after he complains that they’re in a parking lot, she says, “go to your car” and come out “when you’re ready to behave.”
“Will you help Mommy with these groceries?” she tells another pap — Kate even cowlicks a few cheeks!
