Is Chanel impressario Karl Lagerfeld hanging up his sketch pad for a brief appearance on The CW teen soap Gossip Girl?

Blake Lively — who happens to be in Paris filming scenes for the forthcoming third season of the series — was spotted walking the streets of the City of Lights arm-in-arm with Lagerfeld this week, prompting speculation that Karl may be joining former supermodel Tyra Banks as the latest fashion notable to appear on the primetime drama.

Lagerfeld is in France to present Chanel’s Haute Couture Autumn/Winter collection to celebs and potential buyers as part of Paris Haute Couture Week.

Here we go again…..

Add German designer Karl Lagerfeld and ’90s-era catwalk maven Claudia Schiffer — his muse — to the growing list of fashion notables who missed the memo on Blackface.

Lily Allen, consider yourself replaced. The British songbird — an outspoken advocate against almost everything has been dropped as the face of Chanel Handbags and replaced by French singer Vanessa Paradis, perhaps best known as Johnny Depp’s “baby mama.”

The “Not Fair” singer fronted an advertising campaign for the French fashion house’s Coco Cocoon bag last year, but her contract has since expired and won’t be renewed after Lils got on the bad side of former pal and Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
