The politician father of American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi says the songwriter is getting the silent treatment from FOX about her rumored axing from the TV talent show.
Joe DioGuardi, a Republican Senate candidate from New York, told NY political talk show Capital Tonight Thursday that Kara heard about being fired from the show through tabloids.
Award-winning singer/songwriter Kara DioGuardi has been fired from judging panel of American Idol as part of producers’ ongoing cast shakeup and just hours after talk show hostess Ellen DeGeneres announced her departure from the series after just one season.
DioGuardi, 39, will be replaced by Aerosmith rocker and repeat rehabber Steven Tyler, TMZ snoops said Friday.
According to online gossips, FOX and Idol producers have finalized deals to have Tyler and pop star Jennifer Lopez join lone original A.I. judge Randy Jackson at the table when Idol returns for its 10th season in Jan. 2011.
So how are you all feeling about this latest bit of big Idol news?
American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has landed a new gig: She is now the host of her own radio show on Los Angeles-based Top 40s station 104.3 MYfm.
Kara — who has written a bevy of Top 10 hits for artists like Kelly Clarkson, Pink, and Christina Aguilera — has inked a deal to take over the Saturday afternoon timeslot (2:00PM – 6:00PM) at the Clear Channel-owned station.
Last night, American Idol judge/songwriter Kara DioGuardi joined musician Jason Reeves for a duet of “Terrified” on TBS’ Lopez Tonight. It’s a ballad the pair wrote for former Idol finalist Katharine McPhee.
It’s not everyday we get to pass judgement on a judge. Kara has a lovely voice, we must say! What did you think of the vocals?
It’s that time of year again: Temperatures rise as “Alluring” Hollywood beauties — like Regina Hall and Jessica Capshaw — shed their clothes and bare all on the pages of Allure Magazine’s annual May Naked Truth Edition.
