Each of the famous men in Taylor Swift’s life earned name drops in her inaugural Saturday Night Live monologue over the weekend. The country singer sang about ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas, her rumored boyfriend Taylor Lautner, and the man who ambushed her at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, rapper Kanye West, as she opened the long-running sketch comedy series on Saturday night.
“If you’re wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from ‘Twilight’ I’m not going to comment on that in my monologue,” Swift sang, before mouthing “Hi Taylor,” and blowing Lautner, 17, a kiss.
“You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye [West]. But there’s nothing more to say because everything’s okay…I’ve got security lining the stage,” the songstress teased.
And poor Joe Jonas really got an earful: “You might think I’d bring up Joe, that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue,” Taylor continued. “Joe, I’m doing real well—tonight I’m hosting SNL!”
Taylor Swift is the host and musical guest on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live — and she hasn’t forgotten the infamous mic-snitching that left her publicly humiliated at the MTV Video Music Awards last summer.
In a promo that began airing Tuesday, the global music sensation and SNL cast member Bill Hader poke fun at the notorious incident and controversial rap star Kanye West. Taylor announces she will be on the sketch show this weekend while Hader stands by her side on the phone. He gets off his cell and says, “Whoops, Kanye West just called. He thinks Beyoncé should host instead.”
This could get ugly: Sparks could fly if Taylor Swift is reunited with nemesis Kanye West on Saturday Night Live. We hear producers of the long-running sketch-comedy series are frantically trying to book a “surprise” cameo from Kanye when Taylor hosts the show next month.
Yeah, that’s a great plan — give ole Motormouth yet another opportunity to upstage this poor chile.
Taylor Swift will host SNL for the first time on Nov. 7.
Kanye West’s bald-headed “Buss It Baby,” model Amber Rose, says an Internet hoax claiming the rapper died in a car accident in Los Angeles overnight is “disrespectful” and in “extreme poor taste.”
(Sort of like the things her boyfriend says everytime he opens his flytrap.)
“RIP Kanye West” is still the top trending topic on Twitter, where the rumor gained momentum 12 hours ago. It’s also the top Google search in the US.
Amber took to her own Twitter page Wednesday to condemn the hoax as “not funny” and “NOT TRUE!” She wrote: “Its in extreme poor taste to have that as a trendy topic. It’s totally disrespectful to make up a story like this where all human and we all make mistakes… and to say someone died cuz of a mistake is ridiculous.”
“U wouldn’t want someone to say that about u,” Amber added. “I’ll always ride for my man!!!! I’m bout to get off here and still RIDE for him. LITERALLY. Holla!”
Kanye West is planning to spend a month at a Hindu retreat in Pondicherry, India. The move comes as friends urge the outspoken hip-hop star to enter treatment for alcohol addiction in the wake of his infamous VMAs stage-crashing and the cancellation of his tour with pop newcomer Lady Gaga. Kanye is hoping to find spiritual guidance during 30 days of solitude at Sri Aurobindo Ashram.
“He feels terrible about Taylor Swift and sees it as another sign that his life is going in the wrong direction since his mother died,” a tipster spills to Star Magazine.
Say what you will about Kanye, but you must admit, the egotistical assburst has quite a way with words!
Apparently, Yeezy was in a finger lickin’ good mood after dinner at The Cheesecake Factory on Tuesday night — when he told TMZ’s roving cameras that he ordered chicken, because he’s “Black.”
Operation Krush Kanye Continues: Teen Queen Miley Cyrus has blasted Kanye West for his stage-storming at the MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday night – insisting he only apologized to Taylor Swift to save his image.
Kanye invaded the stage and stole Swift’s microphone as she made her Best Female Video acceptance speech to tell the world that it was Beyonce who should have won the award. Read the rest of this entry »

The trio is scheduled to perform the single on the first episode of NBC’s The Jay Leno Show next month.
The video was shot at the historic Fort Trotten Park in Queens, New York — which was selected because Mandler wanted a European feel without leaving American soil.
