Amidst tabloid rumors and speculation that Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are ready to tie the knot, Timberlake set the record straight with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Monday.
They might get married — in a decade and a half, the singer told DeGeneres when she brought up the rumors.
Friendly bantering ensued as DeGeneres asked whether she would need to reserve a bridesmaid dress. Timberlake’s response?
“You’ll have to stay the same size for the next 15 years.”
The crowd was visibly disappointed, but life goes on. In addition to marriage rumors, Timberlake also discussed his former bandmate Lance Bass, who recently made it publicly known he was gay.
“Let’s all be honest,” Timberlake says, “I don’t think we didn’t know. I’m more happy for him than I’ve ever been… he gets to live his life the way he wants to live his life.”

In a recent interview with Fashion Rocks (a supplement of Vanity Fair) Justin Timberlake made his opinion of American Idol winner Taylor Hicks clear. He’s, well.. not a fan.
“People think he looks so normal, and he’s so sweet and he’s so earnest, but he can’t carry a tune in a bucket,” Timberlake said. He added, “If [Hicks] has any skeletons whatsoever, if God forbid, he’s gay, and if all these people in Mississippi who voted for him are like [then he takes on a thick southern accent], ‘Oh my god, I voted for a queer!’ It’s just too much pressure.”
Ouch! I guess Timberlake’s reached that point of success in his career where he feels comfortable openly criticizing others. I couldn’t help but laugh though… that tune in a bucket insult gets me every time.

They say any publicity is good publicity. And when a little kid misbehaves to get attention, they say it’s because to the kid, any attention is better than no attention at all.

Justin Timberlake is all over the news lately with increasingly controversial interviews which were obviously carefully timed to create a buzz for the release of new album on September 12.
In an interview with Observer Music Monthly that he’s bound to regret someday soon, Timberlake seems to be bragging about his history of drug use. (Read the full story at msnbc)
“I’m just like everyone else, I get completely plastered” he said. “I’ve done my fair share of drugs and I’ve been caught places with my pants down. It’s just I make sure there are no cameras around.”
Oh, Justin. You’re not a tough guy. You’re unconvincing as a “bad boy.” You have no street credibility and you didn’t grow up hard-knock style on the streets. You were a freaking Mouseketeer for pete’s sake.
When he said he was going to “push the sound of pop” it was adorably cocky. But Timberlake should realize that his main fan base is still that preteen/teenage age group, a group that definitely doesn’t need to hear their favorite musician talking fondly about his drug experiences and how everyone is doing it.
“If I’m not going to push it, then who’s going to push it?”

This is the latest tidbit of wisdom to come to us from entertainer Justin Timberlake. In the quote, Timberlake is referring to his effort to “push the the sound of pop music” on his new album. Apparently, pushing the sound of pop music equals less singing in falsetto and more electronic, heavy bass lines. (Read the full story at Yahoo News.)
Timberlake talks about this so-called mission as if he’s aiming to cure cancer, but don’t worry, the former member of ‘NSync isn’t getting too full of himself. He leaves us with this, another gem of a quote:
“I think that you guys definitely want a new king of pop, you definitely want one and I’m probably not the only one who you might be thinking of. I don’t want it. I want to do what I do,” he said.
