The Sherlock Holmes star hurled four pieces of fruit at a pair of New York University coeds after he spotted the girls waving at him from a university dom overlooking his Manhattan loft.

The 36-year-old father of four- who had been practicing yoga on a balcony – missed their windows with the first two, but succeeded in getting two shots off at the petite peepers.

“There was orange pulp on the glass for a week,” frustrated student Neha Najeeb groaned to London’s The Sun last Friday. “We don”t like Jude Law anymore,” she added.

Sophia, five weeks old, was the result of a short-lived fling between the star and aspiring actress Samantha Burke, who he met while filming Sherlock Holmes in New York City last Christmas. Jude has made no plans to visit his youngest daughter and hasn’t even sent a present, according to the baby’s mother.

Despite the actor’s seeming reistence to get involved in Sophia’s life, Samantha remains optimistic about their future relationship.

“I am very hopeful it will work out for Sophia’s sake. He’s a great father to his three kids. She’s his daughter and I believe he’ll come through,” Samantha explains in an interview that reportedly earned her $300,000. “It would be great if we can have a friendship and remain cordial. Hopefully, he’ll be a big part of her life and she’ll be proud to have him as her father.”

Samantha also slammed “hurtful” reports branding her a golddigger: ‘“I have never dated a guy for money. All my ex-boyfriends were just normal guys.”

An agent for former model Samantha Burke has sold the world’s first pics of 1-month-old Sophia, along with an interview about her fling with the Hamlet star last December, to Britain’s Hello! Magazine for $300,000.

“Samantha may have got pregnant by accident but she’s a smart businesswoman. The child has rarely left the house since her birth and when Samantha has had to take her out for some reason or the other, her face is carefully covered,” an insider divulged to London’s Daily Mail on Sunday.

Burke gave birth to daughter Sophia on Sept. 22 and went ahead with DNA testing to prove the child’s paternity. The model’s representative, Eileen Kock, has confirmed that Jude is Sophia’s father. “Samantha can confirm that DNA testing has conclusively established that Jude Law is Sophia’’s father,” Kock said in statement Sunday.

However, Jude’s publicist has refused to comment on the statement, adding, “We don’t discuss this. We consider it an entirely private matter.”

Jude changes from black to blonde and long to short hair in full makeup for the role of Minx, a transgender supermodel, in the low-budget murder-mystery.

“Samantha is getting offers ranging up to $200,000″ for the interview and baby photos,” a source close to the former model revealed to The NY Post’s Page Six Column on Wednesday.

Samantha, a native of Pensacola, Florida, met Jude last January when the actor was in New York City filming Sherlock Holmes.

“The irony of the timing for the interview is not lost on her,” the tattle added. “She will talk openly about her relationship with Jude — and he’s not getting rave reviews…While Jude has promised to provide for Sophia, Samantha doesn’t feel like his behavior towards her was entirely chivalrous.”

Baby Sophia is due Oct. 6. Jude already has three children with his former wife.

When Samantha’s attorney contacted Jude’s people to tell them she was pregnant, Jude “didn’t even remember her.”

“She met him at a club in New York,” an unidentified friend of Samantha’s revealed to E! News on Thursday. “He was sick, so she kept going to his hotel over the course of a week to take care of him.”

“She hasn’t seen him since New York. They’ve only been in contact through their lawyers,” the friend adds.

Jude has stepped up to the plate and promised to provide for Samantha’s unborn child — a daughter, who will be named Sophia. Samantha is due in October.

Samantha, a 24-year-old aspiring model and former Hooters waitress, uploaded pictures of herself posing in lingerie to her online photo album on Photobucket.com.

In one candid, Samantha and her funbags are seen striking a pose in front of a mirror in a pair of zebra-print panties and a black bra.

Samantha and Jude dated briefly earlier this year while the Brit was in New York shooting Sherlock Holmes. Their daughter, a baby girl to be named Sophia, is due in October.

The British actor has told friends that he wants to be sure he is the father before accepting responsibility.

“At the moment Jude doesn’t know for sure he is the father,” a tattle blabbed to News of The World over the weekend.

“He thinks he is – but he wants to be 100 percent certain. There has been a lot of speculation. But if it is his baby girl he’ll be there for her every step of the way.”

The Sherlock Holmes star was said to be “stunned” to find out that Samantha had not been taking any form of contraception.

“Jude assumed she was taking the Pill. He was stunned at being informed of the pregnancy. Jude feels he’s been made to look the bad guy. One of the reasons their brief relationship didn’t work out was because Samantha was a little too keen.”

“She claimed she was falling in love after just a couple of weeks. It was probably a bit too much too soon.”

According to the sources, Burke — a native of Pensacola, Florida — was innocent and inexperienced with men before she had a fling with the womanizing actor last December. Jude Law has been romantically-linked to actress Sienna Miller and Lindsay Lohan, as well as model Lily Cole.

“It’s not like she’s a maneater. In fact nothing could be further from the truth. She’s actually innocent and inexperienced when it comes to men. Growing up, she barely had any boyfriends. Jude is one of the first men she’s had in her life that we know of,” a source told The Sun on Monday.

“She didn’t get hit on as much as you’d think,” the spy adds. “She was a very sweet girl and didn’t flaunt her looks and guys tended to keep their distance.You didn’t see her on the arms of different guys all the time – in fact I don’t remember seeing her with any guys at all.”

Samantha is expecting a baby girl on October 6, whom she has decided to call Sophia.

A 24-year-old model has been revealed as Jude Law’s new baby mama.

A lawyer for Samantha Burke has confirmed that the 5′10 brunette is carrying the actor’s fourth child.

“Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall,” Samantha’s attorney said in a statement to TMZ.com Thursday.

“Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy,” the statement concluded.

Law already has three children with ex-wife Sadie.

“I just love to be in front of the camera,” Samantha reportedly wrote on online model website, ModelMayhem.com, where she reportedly lists “fashion and photography” among her interest. The young model previously worked for Jantzen Swimwear, but also expresses an interest in acting.

“I worked in New York City this past summer of 07’ and i’m now across the river in Jersey City . I attended acting classes at the New York Studio for Film & Television. It was a commercial and soap opera based course. I loved it! I wouldn’t mind modeling AND acting.”
