Jazzy powerhouse Joss Stone has launched a scathing attack on fellow British singer Lily Allen, by criticizing the “Smile” star’s singing prowness and her unpopular campaign against illegal file-sharing.

“[Lily] needs to sell records because she’s not a singer, and that’s not an offense to her because I think that she knows that too,” Joss — who has previously been accused of sleeping with producers for access to coveated beats — told The Press Association on Wednesday. “I think she’s a performer and she’s more of a personality than she is a singer. But I think when musicians are really making real music people come to the show and that’s what we make our money from, from playing live. And I think it’s probably harder for an artist like Lily and any other pop acts.”

Lily is currently campaigning to try and make internet file sharing a criminal offense in the UK. It is an effort Joss finds pointless.

“…She’s not going to win that fight. None of us will win that fight. So let’s just accept it and let’s see it as something that can be beautiful and it might change music for the better. It might sort the weeds from the flowers,” Joss remarked.

“Who said that musicians have to be millionaires? Who made this a rule? We don’t need that much money. We just don’t. We only need enough to make music and to eat and to go on tour.”

British soul songstress Joss Stone will debut in her first major acting role on Showtime’s raunchy royal drama The Tudors this Fall.

Joss wil play Anne of Cleves, the fourth wife, Henry VIII, portrayed by Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

The twenty-four year old recently singled royal wants twenty year old Joss to perform at the Tribute Concert for Will’s late mom Princess Diana scheduled for July 1 in Britain, according to the rags.

“She thinks he’s gorgeous and is incredibly flattered,” says a source close to Joss.

“Joss is delighted by the fact that Wills is phoning her and they hit it off instantly,” the mole continues. They’ve spent ages talking about which songs she should perform and have painstakingly gone through a list of Diana’s most loved artists. They’ve settled on Queen and Tina Turner and Joss is incredibly honored to be asked to perform them.”

Joss Stone is considering becoming a lesbian. The twenty year old blue-eyed soul songstress has been desperate to be in a relationship since splitting from her first love Beau Dozier in 2005. Now she is now considering giving up on men altogether.

Joss told The Times magazine: “I think I’ll have to turn lesbian.

“Every girl my age wants to be in a relationship. I haven’t had one in two years and look how that ended. I only wish I had something to tell the gossip columnists.”

Joss Stone fired her momanager after learning she was dating her musical director.

The British singer admits having her mother as her manager was never ideal and their relationship became tense when Stone realized her mom and her drummer, Jonathan Joseph, were lovers.

“At that point, I just had to send my mom home. She took care of me and did a good job, but it was time for me to move on….It’s ridiculous having your mother manage you. I said so at the time, but no one wanted to listen to me.”

“I wanted a real manager, someone with 30 years in the business. Not my mom….We’re still very tight, and anything she needs, she has it.”

Joss’ mother has now wed Joseph and the couple live in London.

“I thought my mom was an angel but I realized that parents are human….My mom came out to the U.S. with me and saw the world, and for over 20 years, she had taken care of three kids while my dad went off at work… I’m like her mom now.”
