It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from English soul stirrer Joss Stone. Now 23, the “You Had Me” star has taken an extended vacation from recording, which left her plenty of time to strip off in a new PETA ad protesting the UK’s Ministry of Defense and the slaughter of bears, which supply the fur for the ministry’s famed hats.

Regiments of the Queen’s Guards, including the Scots Guards and the Coldstream Guards, wear bearskin hats, which are made from the skins of the North American black bear, much to the chagrin of animal lovers like Joss. In the ad, Stone is seen holding a teddy bear that covers up most of her naked body, with the slogan “Bear Hugs, Not Bear Caps” in the background.
