Hollywood father, Jon Voight, says that he is “moved” by the way his daughter, Angelina Jolie, handled her mastectomy.
“My love and admiration for my daughter can’t be explained in words,” Voight told the New York Daily News about Jolie. “I saw her two days ago with my son Jamie. We all got together for his birthday, with her and Brad [Pitt]. But I didn’t know. It wasn’t obvious at all. I found out [Tuesday] morning. It looks like Jon Voight has officially reconnected with his famous estranged daughter. The two were seen exiting a boat in Venice on Sunday, along with Brad Pitt and the couple’s young children. The Oscar winner and her actor dad stopped speaking back in 2001 after Voight told the media that his daughter needed to seek help for her “serious mental problems.”
Voight and Jolie reconciled last fall.

Voight — who is believed to have recently repaired his fractured relationship with the bombshell star – has blasted comparisons between the two beauties, insisting Megan just doesn’t have Angelina’s screen presence.

Angelina Jolie has reunited with her estranged father Jon Voight.
The Academy Award winner is rebuilding her rocky relationship with her actor dad after more than six years of publicly shunning him, if a scoop from London’s The Sun is to be believed.
“We’re in contact now and writing letters. My parents gave me a strong social conscience as well as any acting genes I may have,” the stunner said this week. “Both my parents were very focused on helping other people and supported charities all their lives.”
