Jon Gosselin is allegedly hoping to strike a deal that will convince TLC to drop its multimillion dollar breach of contract lawsuit against him, sources close to the negotiations told RadarOnline.com on Friday. The cash-strapped father of 8 will reportedly allow the network to film his brood if execs agree to drop the lawsuit.

TLC filed the lawsuit, which requests for a judge to stop Gosselin from making media appearances without their consent, after Gosselin refused to let them film his eight children for the family’s reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8, which was subsequently canceled. The Knowles aren’t the only stars taking up residence in Splitsville: Jon and Kate Gosselin have officially divorced. The former stars of Jon & Kate Plus 8 have been granted a divorce by Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County Court on Friday.
Jon and Kate, who famously parented their brood of eight in front of TLC’s roving cameras for five seasons, were married for 10 years before tabloid rumors of theft and infidelity led to the couple’s split last June.
Kate is reportedly working on a new solo series with TLC.
“I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children,” Kate said in a press release Friday. “On behalf of myself and my legal team, I want to express my deep appreciation to the Judge and his staff, as well as to the arbitrator, for resolving this case. This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives.”
As for Jon, he’s now responsible for monthly child support payments in the “five-figure range,” according to TMZ.
