In a $5 million counter suit filed against TLC on Nov. 13, Jon Gosselin — formerly of the now-defunct reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 — claims his newfound notriety as a tabloid darling “makes it impossible” to find a “regular job.”
In documents obtained by The NY Daily News, the father of eight claims that due to his celebrity status, it is “impossible to carry on normal daily activities, let alone find, secure and maintain a job with an employer who is willing to be exposed to the daily media intrusions that has impeded my life.”
The legal slugfest kicks off in Maryland on Dec. 14.
Cake Boss will begin airing in the fractured reality family’s Monday-night timeslot on Nov. 30, TLC announced on Friday.
The series finale of Jon & Kate, airing Nov. 23, will feature Jon and Kate sitting down “to provide new insights on their recent life events” and the future of their eight children, according to The New York Post. The episode will also feature Kate and the kids at a dairy farm, Jon with the children at a firehouse, and a montage of the show’s five-seasons on The Learning Channel.

The 32-year-old dad — and former star of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 — “is likely to argue that TLC is preventing him from earning a living with a contract that is too restrictive,” the site claims.

The reality-starring Octomom opened up to NBC News’ Natalie Morales in a new special called Her Story. In the candid chat, which aired Monday night on TLC, the mother of eight revealed that her inner circle is shrinking daily
“[I trust] a very, very small group of people,” Kate told Natalie. “You almost can’t blame me. When you look around and very close trusted people who would never cash you in, for lack of better words, and those people do that and people leave your house and tell completely different stories, you tend not to trust people.”
Kate says the demise of her 10-year marriage to Jon “happened so quickly … At the end of the day, I looked at him and he looked at me, and we were completely different people.” The 34-year-old acknowledges that she emasculated Jon, 32, “to a degree” during the union.
“I was wrong to treat him that way. Was it good, healthy and wonderful? No. Am I proud of those moments that were captured? No,” she says.

This sounds disturbing, but the whispers don’t come as a total surprise. After all, Nadya has confessed to having a bit of a Love Jones for Kate’s once-whipped penis supplier.
