One of the biggest mouths in modern music has been silenced. At least temporarily. Singer/guitarist John Mayer is on “complete vocal rest” for the next month after undergoing surgery last Thursday to remove a “granuloma” (an inflammed mass of tissue) near one of his vocal cords.
