Elizabeth Edwards, the wife of former presidential candidate John Edwards, talks about her husband’s affair with videographer Rielle Hunter and the death of her beloved father in the new autobiography Resilence — available Tuesday.

On an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show airing Thursday, Elizabeth Edwards — who is battling terminal breast cancer — tells O that even after 31 years of marriage, she’s not sure she is still in love with her husband, former presidential candidate and North Carolina senator John Edwards.

Last year, The National Enquirer revealed that Edwards had cheated on his cancer-stricken wife with campaign videographer Rielle Hunter.

Oprah asks, “Are you still in love with him?”

Edwards responds, “You know, that’s a complicated question…”

“Neither one of us is out the door so I guess it’s day by day, but maybe it’s month by month.”

Elizabeth’s memoir Resilience will be published later this month. In her memoir, Edwards describes how she screamed, cried, and vomitted after learning of the one-time presidential candidate’s infidelity.
