Mel Gibson will resurrect his film career…or what’s left of it…next spring in Jodie Foster’s The Beaver, a comedy about a depressed, emotionally-disturbed businessman and his stuffed animal alter ego that is eerily similar to the Oscar winner’s real-life meltdown.

In the October issue of More Magazine, Mel Gibson’s longtime pal and collaborator Jodie Foster opens up about taking up arms for the actor as he wages war in a public relations nightmare of epic proportions.
Jodie was steadfast in her support of Gibson when asked for her thoughts on the actor’s racist, misoygnistic, and expletive-filled telephone tirades against Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva — the mother of his youngest child.

Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster has been accused of attacking a 17-year-old boy in the parking lot of The Grove in Los Angeles last month. According to an incident report, the unidentified teen was taking pictures of Foster at the shopping mecca on May 29 when the Silence of the Lambs star “poked him on his chest” and grabbed “his left arm causing visible injury.”
“My son was at The Grove with his girlfriend and they were going to see a movie. He saw Jodie Foster and is a big fan so went over and took a picture of her,” the boy’s angry father yapped to RadarOnline.com Friday.
“She came after him, poked him in the chest and said, ‘Do you even have a mother you slime ball?”
