Chelsea Handler And Joan Rivers’ Word War On Howard Stern’s Sirius XM Radio Show
Comediennes Chelsea Handler and Joan Rivers launched a nasty f-bomb laden war on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show. The two funny ladies were both recent guests on Stern’s talk show. Both Rivers and Handler furthered the tension stemming from fires brewing between them with the following:
While on air, Rivers attacked Handler with the spoken insinuation “Number one, the girl [Handler] made it on her back f**king the president [E!'s Ted Harbert], we all know that. Number two, she’s fine, she’s ordinary. She’s not a genius.” Rivers went on to say: “She’s an ordinary girl that was f**king somebody high up in the industry and they gave her a break and she’s doing okay.”
Handler also engaged in the verbal warfare via Stern’s show while promoting her NBC show, Are You There, Chelsea? When Stern questioned Handler about Rivers, Handler responded “Joan Rivers? What the f**k do I care about Joan Rivers? I don’t think about her ever.”
Apparently the catfight began when Handler snubbed Rivers at a network event after Rivers approached Handler to say hi. Things between them burned like a wildfire from that moment on.
She who laughs last, laughs last. Rivers temporarily has the upper hand, as her most recent comments regarding Handler were “Who the f**k do you think you are? Whatever she is, she’s a drunk. I don’t wish her good luck, I don’t wish her bad luck. I don’t think she’s particularly funny. But don’t you come after me, you wh*re.”
