Jimmy Fallon, who will replace Conan O’Brien on NBC Late Night once Conan takes over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show later this year, appeared on Leno Monday to promote his webisodes, but wound up drenched water after an exchange with Jay.

Jimmy Fallon posted his first webisode this morning in an effort to give fans a taste of what they’ll see when the comic takes over hosting duties on NBC’s Late Night from current host Conan O’Brien next year.
Jimmy also introduced his house band, which will be none other than neo-soul hitmakers The Roots!

Webisodes of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will premiere on NBC.com at 12:35 a.m. on December 9.

Former Saturday Night Live star Jimmy Fallon will replace Conan O’Brien on NBC’s Late Night once the redheaded Irishman moves to the Tonight Show in next year, The Hollywood Reporter says.
