In the TLC reality special “Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding,” which chronicled the nuptials between Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, the beaming bride apparently went into a snit when talking about all the paparazzi attention to her wedding.
“It’s funny to me that they care,” she said, “because I’d like to think that Nick and I are somewhat boring. But they care.”
She then went on to complain Nick’s ex, Jessica Simpson, is the only reason the media DID care about the wedding, even calling Simpson “the elephant in the room.”

Jessica Simpson has finally set the date! According to an In Touch Weekly tipster, the singer will say “I Do” to her unemployed fiance, Eric Johnson, at 11.11 AM on November 11, 2011 – exactly a year after her ex-football star beau, 31, proposed.
“Eleven is their lucky number and it couldn’t have more 11s,” says an insider of the date, which was picked with the help of a numerologist.
