Padma — who is currently expecting her first child — is helping the native Texan abandon her favorite fatty foods, like chips and guacamole, in favor of wiser meat-free meal choices, an insider dished on the pages of the Nov. 23 print issue of Star.
“Padma e-mailed her recipes for items like seared scallops with citrus sauce, stir-fry using olive oil, and an eggplant parm with low-cal ricotta and skim mozzarella. She satisfies her sweet tooth with fat-free sorbet.”

Jessica Simpson showed off a new visually-impressive henna tattoo in India earlier this week. After a spool of failed relationships, Jessica’s hoping the design will bring her some much luck with Cupid.
The 29-year-old singer debuted the body art in Mumbai Monday while filming her upcoming VH1 reality show, The Price of Beauty, with celeb tress man Ken Paves.
“The intricate Mehndi designs are typically Indian, and made with a turmeric paste,” her rep told London’s Daily Mail. “They’re worn at wedding ceremonies and are supposed to bring good luck to eligible single women in India. It’s a big style statement too. The really intricate designs take hours to apply by hand using just a brush. The artists are very skilled.”
Jessica Simpson admits her once-famous curves have gotten a little boost in the past.
“I have worn butt pads … lol :)” the singer, 29, posted on Twitter Friday after an acid-tongued follower jeered: “I highly doubt god’s plan for you is bigger than your ass.”
Jess — who has been criticized for her fluctuating weight in recent months — responded with: “The G in the word God is capitalized,” later adding, ‘My ass is small actually.”

A spywitness tells Star Magazine: “She got so flustered and complained that she couldn’t even pronounce half of the words.”
Sources say Jessica ended up making up her own version of the speech, “It was shorter and much simpler.”
