Katniss has an Oscar!

Jennifer Lawrence, who was previously nominated for her role in Winter’s Bone, took home her first Oscar tonight for her role on Silver Linings Playbook.

An overwhelmed Lawrence made her way to the stage but slipped and fell as she started to walk up the steps. Jennifer was quickly aided by the nicest guy in Hollywood, Hugh Jackman and popped back up quickly, making her way to the microphone.

“Oh you are all just standing because I feel – that was embarrassing, “Jennifer said as she started her acceptance speech. But a tearful Jennifer shook off the slip and thanked her family and friends.

Congrats to Jennifer on her Oscar.

Silver Lining Playbook star, Jennifer Lawrence, arrived at the Oscar red carpet in a beautiful Dior Haute Couture gown.
