Celebrity pals like Usher and Mariah Carey are encouraging singer/actress Jennifer Hudson to name her unborn baby after the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Windy City-born Jennifer “merely smiled coyly when several stars (including Usher and Mariah Carey) suggested she should name her soon-to-be-born baby Michael — or Michaela, if it’s a girl,” according to a scoop featured in The Chicago Sun-Times.
The heavily-pregnant Oscar & Grammy winner has never publicly confirmed reports that she is expecting, but sported an undeniable baby bump as she performed MJ’s hit single “Will You Be There” at Tuesday’s memorial at The Staples Center in Los Angeles.

A very pregnant Jennifer Hudson performed Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There” with the MJ Show Company dancers and the Andrae Crouch singers as the music world and thousands of fans bade farewell to the singer known as the King of Pop in a public tribute in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

CNN. The service will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
No word yet on what song the reportedly pregnant Oscar winner will perform at tomorrow’ funeral.
The network is also reporting that the event will be produced by Ken Ehrlich, who has previously produced the Grammy Awards. The director of Jackson’s memorial will be Kenny Ortega, who was set to co-direct the singer’s O2 shows in London later this month.

Jennnifer Hudson is seven months pregnant with her first child, a longtime friend of the Grammy/Oscar-winning 27-year-old told The Chicago Tribune over the weekend.
