Beyoncé and Jay-Z made it official on Friday. Hip-hop’s royal couple were married in a private ceremony at Jay’s New York City loft on April 4th, a friend of the couple tells PEOPLE.
“It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family.”
Beyonce had better Ring the Alarm-and she may want to bar the doors and windows while she’s at it, because the ultimate Jay-Z stalker made a visit to Dr. Phil on Monday. Hip-hop moguls Diddy and Jigga, songbird Mariah Carey, and international superstar David Beckham are among the witnesses being listed in defense of famed New York jeweler to the stars, Jacob the Jeweler.
JTJ was among 16 people indicted by a Michigan District Attorney last May for violating federal drug laws and laundering an excess of $270 million.
The jeweler is accused of taking drug money generated by the Black Mafia Family, an Atlanta drug gang accused of moving more than four hundred kilos of blow between the early nineties and 2006. He is also accused of giving them jewelry in return without making proper report of the transactions.
New York sources are reporting that four of Jacob’s most famous clients are being listed as potential character witnesses. “They themselves made substantial purchases in cash from him and all the money was handled properly,” says JTJ’s lawyer, Benjamin Brafman.
One of the faux fur jackets featured as a part of Jay-Z’s popular Rocawear line is alleged to contain collars made of dog fur.
One day after his girlfriend joined the ranks of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Cameron Diaz as one of the worst dressed women at Tuesday’s Golden Globe Awards, Jay-Z has another problem-The Humane Society of the United States. Bringing the hip-hop mogul’s total of problems right up to one hundred.
The Humane Society claims the dogs are skinned alive for the coats. According to the H.S investigation the Hunter jacket on Rocawear.com contains real fur from a raccoon dog. Raccoon dogs hail from Asia.

It looks like a hip-hop mogul will be moving out of New York’s posh Time Warner Center in the coming months. Jay-Z has been renting a $40,000 a month, four bedroom, five and a half bath condo on the seventy-sixth floor of the Manhattan dwelling since September 2005.
Well, the word in New York is that the condo is in the process of being sold by it’s owner New York real estate magnet Michael Hirtenstein. Jay-Z’s condo, which gives him a full-frontal view of Beyonce’s apartment across the street at One Beacon Court, sports one of the building’s few private terrace and even a library so that Jay can catch up on his latest edition of The Source. Could Jay-Z’s big move have anything to do with why he and Bee were checking out villages in D.R over the holidays?
Don’t feel too bad for Jay, chances are he won’t be moving back to Brooklyn’s notorious Marcy Projects anytime soon. The rapper has also been renovating a $6.85 million townhouse on New York’s famed Houston Street.
Jay-Z and Beyonce are quashing engagement rumors, says TMZ.com. But sources do say they’re still crazy in love. By that, I mean the song “Crazy in Love.”
Interviewed by Ellen Degeneres, Beyonce said any rumors that they were engaged were just that … “big fat rumors.”
The TMZ article also states that Beyonce wants to win a Grammy, a Tony and an Oscar. That last one may be an uphill battle when you put that “Austin Powers” movie into perspective … and also her utter lack of acting talent.
But at least you still have your mediocre singles, right Beyonce? Oh, and your boyfriend, cause all he needs in this life of sin is him and you.
