To congratulate husband Jay-Z on his new platinum album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, pop superstar Beyonce posted a picture of him as a child on her Instagram page with the caption “Bow Down” followed by “Platinum #MagnaCarta.”
The image features a young Hov in a graduation cap and gown.
The hip-hopster sold a million records to Samsung in an unprecedented deal that forced the Recording Industry Association of America to rewrite their own rules, essentially recognizing digital album sales for the first time. Magna Carta is Jay-Z 12th platinum-selling album since the release of his 1996 debut Reasonable Doubt.
Jay-Z is opening up saying that his superstar wife, Beyonce, is not pregnant.
Jay spoke with a local New York radio station, Hot 97, and said that the rumor blowing up around the world is not true. Carter emailed program director Ebro Darden to say that “the pregnancy rumor is false.” I hit him to say congratulations, send my love to the fam,” Darden revealed. “I got 99 problems but a BENZ ain’t one,” former Notre Dame basketball star, Skylar Diggins tweeted this weekend.
Diggins, who just signed with Jay-Z’s sports management office, received a brand new Mercedes from the Rapper/mogul for receiving her degree from Notre Dame. Jay-Z, who was forced to divest his interest in the Brooklyn Nets to start his own agency, has also signed some profile clintes like Yankees’ Robinson Cano and Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. Jay-Z is hitting back at critics of his anniversary getaway in Cuba with wife Beyonce the best way he knows how: in song. The hip-hop mogul released a new track titled “Open Letter” on Thursday morning. The beat’s sure to get heads bobbing, but the lyrics are pretty cutting.

The power couple spent a vacation celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary in Cuba. U.S. Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart of Florida have written to the U.S. Department of Treasury expressing concern about the trip.
