It’s official: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno is looking for a new bandleader.
After 18 years, musician Kevin Eubanks has announced that he is leaving NBC’s flagship late-night program. Rubanks made the announcement during a taping of The Tonight Show, telling host Jay Leno that he was ready for a change of pace in his career.
Jimmy Kimmel dropped by CBS’ Late Show on Tuesday, where the comic and host David Letterman happily chopped it up about one of their favorite topics: late-night rival Jay Leno.

said Thursday. According to NBC spies, Janet is expected to chat up her role in the new Tyler Perry comedy-drama Why Did I Get Married Too. The appearance will be the star’s second interview on network TV since the death of her brother Michael last summer after sitting down with ABC’s Robin Roberts in November.
