Janet Jackson says “Give Obama A Chance.” R&B legend Janet Jackson has lashed out against detractors who say the president has failed miserably in his attempt to govern the nation. In an interview with Times of London over the weeknd, the “Control” star defended President Barack Obama against Americans who believe he hasn’t accomplished anything during his time in office.
“I think people are giving him really such a hard time,” she said. “Everyone wants everything to turn around immediately. It took us how many years to get to this point?” Janet continued. “People say, ‘His first 100 days in office, what has he done?’ You can’t do that to the man. It’s not going to happen tomorrow. It’s going to take us time to get out of it.”
Love is in the air for Miss Jackson, if Entertainment Tonight insiders are to be believed. The diva recently ended her romance with longtime flame Janet Jackson and was spied enjoying a romantic lunch with notorious ladies’ man Colin Farrell.
The two were seen last week sitting side by side in a booth at the renowned Polo Lounge located in the Beverly Hills Hotel, ET snitches say.
