Jane Lynch — who plays tough-as-nails cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on TV’s Glee — will make her Broadway debut playing Miss Hannigan in the Great White Way’s revival of the 1977 musical Annie, show producers said Wednesday.

When host Jane Lynch opened the Emmys on Sunday night, she did so with with a song and dance routine that depicted the “vast wonderland” of television, during which she wandered through an apartment building where many of the casts from the top TV shows appeared to live and/or work.
Many “Glee” stars will act as spokespeople for New York’s third annual Fashion’s Night Out on September 8. To promote the upcoming event, much of the cast covered David Bowie’s 80s hit “Fashion” in a cool little promotional video.
