But, that’s me and I wouldn’t want anyone else to follow that because you should let the justice system work it out.”

“On the other hand, I don’t know Roman Polanski, but maybe if I had a relationship with him my answer would be different. I just think this whole issue is bigger than Roman Polanski,” the 41-year-old actor added.

Oscar-nominated actor Johnny Depp and Oscar-winning star Jamie Fox are reportedly being courted to play pop legend Michael Jackson in a new biopic based on the life of the late icon.

The “Thriller” singer died of a suspected cardiac arrest in his Los Angeles home last week. He was 50.

Foxx is being considered to play the pop icon before his skin turned white, while Johnny would take on the role thereafter.

“There are a number of offers being drawn up with a variety of angles to tell Michael’s incredible life story. Some involve using archive footage of Michael and his family and footage from his live shows…A couple would even have an actor cast to play Michael. Jamie Foxx has been mentioned, as has Johnny Depp. It all depends on how his family decide to honor him,” say an insider at one top Hollywood studio.

Jamie showed off his best moonwalk and choreography from Michael’s 1983 music video “Beat It” during the 2009 BET Awards last Sunday. For his part, Johnny has denied that he has been approached about the project.

“No no no, I never ever thought of playing Michael Jackson in a film. I think if anyone should play Michael Jackson in a film it should’ve been Michael Jackson.”

The Ray star was forced to issue a public apology to The Cyrus Family in April after joking the 16 year old should “make a sex tape… do some heroin… and become a lesbian” on his satellite radio show.

The Foxx Affair was listed as one of the questions interviewers were banned from asking the teen star about.

Nonetheless, Miley denies she hung the phone MJ broached the subject to ask if she had ever received a personal apology from Jamie — chalking the incident to time constraints.

Writing on her Twitter.com page, Miley explained: “There’s a little drama (of course the world loves it) because apparently I “hung up” on a radio station today and I hate to say that’s not true. A biopic based on the life of Frank Sinatra is on its way to the silver screen, but even the guy who “didd it his way” couldn’t have imagined the cast of characters being lined up to possibly play him.

While early reports had entertainers like Justin Timberlake, Harry Connick Jr., and Leo DiCaprio tapped to tackle the part of Sinatra, some Hollywood insiders now believe Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx would do an excellent job of portraying the Rat Packer.

According to The Daily Express, the African-American singer, songwriter, and actor — who won an Academy Award for his big screen portrayal of music legend Ray Charles in the 2004 biopic Ray — is now being seriously considered as the possible lead in the life story of the Italian-American crooner.

Industry insiders believe Foxx was “born to play Sinatra.”

“Cool is color-blind. Jamie would seem to be born to the role.” The source went on: “Magnificent singing voice, totally convincing acting ability, like Frank himself, born the wrong side of the tracks, rags to riches, makes it big against the odds, has his brushes with authority. The guy’s a gift.”

Billy Ray Cyrus is responding to the explosive comments Oscar winner Jamie Foxx made about his daughter, Disney star Miley Cyrus, over the weekend.

“It was hurtful, there wasn’t nothing funny about it,” Billy Ray confessed during an appearance on The Bonnie Hunt Show, which taped Wednesday and airs Thursday.

“And quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic.”

Over the weekend, Jamie said Miley should “make a sex tape and grow up,” during his Sirius satellite radio show, The Foxxhole.

“Who is Miley Cyrus? The one with all the gums? She need to get a gum transplant!” Jamie could be heard saying.

The Ray star also suggested the 16-year-old “go do some heroin.”

On Tuesday, Foxx apologized to Miley during his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

“I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere,” he began. “I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. [Big laugh from the audience]. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far.”

“I have a radio show…We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart,” he added.

“Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.”
