The poster for Jake Gyllenhaal’s adventure fantasy Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. has been revealed! The Brokeback Mountain star plays Prince Dastan in the upcoming Disney movie, based on the video game about a prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing an earth-shattering sandstorm.
Prince of Persia, also starring Gemma Arterton and Sir Ben Kingsley, opens May 28, 2010.

Reese’s armpiece will be doing all of his own stunts in the film, and after spending much of his career tackling dramatic roles, Jake finds jumping off buildings and climbing walls slightly liberating.
“I’m tired of taking myself so seriously,” the actor says of his role in this Entertainment Weekly First Look. “It’s nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, ‘Actors don’t normally do this,’” he says.
