Michael Jackson may be among the mourners at Jade Goody’s funeral on Saturday.

Jade, who starred on the British reality series Celebrity Big Brother, died on March 22 after a battle with cervical cancer.

The King of Pop had allegedly been in touch with Jade’s family since he learning about her disease earlier this month. Now the 50-year-old has promised to attend Jade’s homegoing service on April 4.

According to The Sun: “Michael has been very moved by Jade’s story. He has pledged to offer any support he can and he has promised to try and make it to the funeral on Saturday.”

British reality star Jade Goody died in her sleep early Sunday after a seven-month battle with cervical cancer.

She was 27.

Jade died surrounded by her family at her home in Essex, southeast England, her publicist, Max Clifford confirmed on Sunday.

“She had been asleep the past 24 hours and it happened very peacefully. Everyone is, of course, devastated, but we knew this was coming. I’m just glad people are remembering her as a brave girl who took on this battle with courage and gusto. She’s inspired a lot of people.”

The former dental assistant rose to fame in 2002 at age 21 when she joined the British version of the reality television show Big Brother, in which contestants live together for weeks and are constantly filmed.

Beckham Sympathy Letter To Jade Goody

Victoria Beckham and husband David have written a letter of sympathy to terminally-ill reality star Jade Goody and her young songs.

The Big Brother star, 27, is dying of advanced cervical cancer. Jade has two sons, Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4.

“We are moved by your fight against this cruel illness,” the letter read. “We are both thinking of you at what must be a terrible time. We wanted to offer your lovely children a gift we hope they will both like.”

The Beckhams enclosed 2 special AC Milan strips for Bobbie and Freddie, The Sun reports.

Talk show titans Larry King and Oprah Winfrey are vying to score an exclusive interview with terminally ill British reality personality Jade Goody.

According to a scoop from Britain’s Daily Mirror, both King and Winfrey have both contacted Jade’s agent to inquire about setting up an appearance on US television via satellite from her home or from the hospital.

Jade, 27, made international headlines two years ago after her racist rant against Big Brother co-star Shilpa Shetty was exposed. The mother of two is dying of advanced cervical cancer.
