The star of the Las Vegas burlesque production Peepshow will start shooting Planet Holly in the City of Sin on October 12.

“It will have some docu-drama, but it’s the perfect excuse for me to be normal in a light-hearted comedy romp. Think Mary Tyler-Moore,” says Holly, who insists the new show will be “empowering” and fun.

Holly, who is currently starring as Bo Peep in Peepshow, will serve as co-producer of Planet Holly.

“It’s all good-natured and not mean like other reality shows,” the former “Girl Next Door” says of her show, which will likely premiere on E!. “I’m really excited about the new series because I am also getting a legitimate co-producer credit for all the work I do behind the camera. It’s not a vanity credit. I’m super excited to learn from the best and take on new responsibilities.”

Holly – who found fame after she began dating Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner – wants to help young girls zthey can achieve their dreams if they work hard enough.

“‘Planet Holly’ also will have an empowering message for women showing that however crazy the ideas you might have, they can be achieve,” the former Playboy Playmate explains. “Growing up in Oregon, I had crazy dreams. I’d see Pamela Anderson or Jenny McCarthy on TV and say I’d like to do that, too. I wanted to go off on the adventure. I dreamed of being a sex symbol as a showgirl in Las Vegas – and it all came true!”

Holly explained her transformation to Life & Style Magazine, saying she was never happy with her body in the chest department before getting a boob job.

“Plastic surgery made it easier for me to get things I wanted in my career. Without it, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”

“I always stuffed my bra,” the 29-year-old former Girls Next Door star reveals in the Sept. 14 issue of Life & Style. “In fact, I had a boyfriend for years, and we moved so slowly. We didn’t have sex for a long time because I had to gradually bring down my bra size so he wouldn’t find out I stuffed my bra!”

How Did Holly’s Relationship With Hugh Hefner Impact Her Self-Image? “Living with Hef brought down my self-esteem a lot,” she says. “I was comparing myself to the other girls… You have to look a certain way at the mansion. If you look at Hef’s girlfriend now, she basically looks like a clone of me. It’s kind of weird.”

Why Did Holly Get Breast Implants? “When I was younger, I was the first person in my class to start getting boobs, so I thought I was going to be huge. But I stopped growing before everybody else started. That was a big letdown… I compared myself to those [Playboy playmates]. I knew what I wanted to look like and was kind of disappointed. I had a butt and no boobs.”

Holly Explains Her Nose Job: It “photographed really big in front of my face. If I wanted to do anything in the entertainment industry, I needed to get it fixed. I was definitely happy with the results. It made me more confident. And a lot of doors open when you look a certain way.”

Would she consider having more surgery? “I wouldn’t consider more surgery – unless my body implodes after I have kids…And I’m scared of getting stuff [like Botox] put into my face. It makes you look like you have a rubber mask on. Beauty is truly on the inside. Looks don’t define you – they’re just a tool to get what you want.”

Former Girl Next Door Holly Madison has rekindled her romance with her former flame, illusionist Criss Angel.

Holly, 30, has been secretly seeing Criss again ever since she moved to Sin City earlier this summer to replace Mel B and Kelly Monaco as the new star of the topless revue Peepshow at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Criss is also a popular performer in town.

The blonde broke up with the 41-year-old Criss last March after four months of dating.

“Holly still had feelings for Criss, so around mid-June she gave him a call,” says a Star source. “She was thrilled when he asked to meet for drinks. They’ve seen each other a few times since!”

Girl Next Door Holly Madison will become the latest headliner in the City of Sin when she replaces General Hospital star — and the original Dancing With The Stars champ — Kelly Monaco in the burlesque production PEEPSHOW next month.

“I feel like this is perfect for me,” the former Hefner Hunny told PEOPLE Thursday. “I’ve always wanted to be in a really classy, sexy burlesque show.”

PEEPSHOW, which features performances by topless dancers, kicked off last month at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas. But don’t worry, at 30, the former Playboy centerfold assures fans that she’ll be keeping her top on.

Holly — who was eliminated from the cast of Dancing With The Stars earlier this year — has signed a three-month contract to star in the production, which also stars DWTS Season 5 runner-up Melanie Brown.

“It’s going to be a blast,” Holly said. “It’s given me a lot more confidence. From being on that show, it will definitely help me stick to a really strict workout routine.”

Russell Brand is dating Hugh Hefner’s former flame. The flirty friendship between he British comic star and one-time Girl Next Door Holly Madison — who split from the 83-year-old Playboy founder last year — has reportedly taken a step to the next level after Russell was spotted making late-night visits to Holly’s Hollywood home earlier this week.

Holly, 29, and Russell, 33, met at a party thrown by rapper Jay-Z in Las Vegas two weeks ago. And pals say the two have been secretly meeting up in Los Angeles – where Russell is shooting new film Get Him To The Greek – nearly every night since their introduction.

First Hugh, then Criss Angel, now Russell Brand? Is it just us or does Holly need better taste in men — or perhaps fewer of them to taste?

According to E! News, Russell was spotted enjoying dinner with the former Girls Next Door star at P. Diddy’s table at TAO Las Vegas during Jay-Z’s Fight Night Party last Saturday. The couple were joined by Cassie, David Arquette, Balthazar Getty, and former Spice Girl Mel B.

An onlooker claims the duo “were flirting with each other all night.”

Hugh Hef is still holding a torch for former girlfriend Holly Madison.

The 83-year-old magazine mogul says he is still in love with the 29-year-old blonde and is desperate for her to return to the Playboy Mansion.

“I’d welcome Holly back with open arms because she is still the love of my life,” Hugh explains in a new interview with L.A. Confidential.

Hugh currently lives with new Girls Next Door 19-year-old twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon and Crystal Harris, 22.

However, Holly – who moved out of the mansion last year after spliting with Hugh – is unmoved by her former boyfriend’s public declaration of love, insisting there is no chance of her returning to life at the Playboy Mansion.

She said: “I loved my time at the mansion and think the world of Hef. There comes a time in everyone’s life where they need to go their own way.”

It Woz fun, but Playboy centerfold Holly Madison and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak were booted from ABC’s ballroom reality series Dancing With The Stars ballroom on Tuesday night. The evening marked the show’s first double elimination of the season.

Steve, the 58-year-old Apple Computer co-founder consistently earned the lowest score during the show’s four weeks of competition. The Woz and professional partner Karina Smirnoff earned just 12 points out of a possible 30 for their Argentine tango on Monday, the week before, the pair managed only 10 points for their samba.

“I gave it a good try,” said The Woz.

“It was a lot physically harder than I thought that it would be,” Holly said of the competition, although she enjoyed her time on the show.

Former Playboy bunny Holly Madison is the latest celebrity cast member to be injured while rehearsing for Dancing With The Stars.

The Girls Next Door star was examined by doctors after suffering a sharp pain on her side on Thursday.

Holly’s rep says the star received medical attention after experiencing pain in her rib area. ABC camera crews were with Madison at the doctor’s visit.

“She hurt herself last week when she was rehearsing the Samba,” Steve Flynn, Madison’s rep, says. “(Thursday) she was practicing the tango and the pain was so bad that it made it basically impossible for her to move.”

“While she is not suffering from a broken rib, she does continue to feel a great deal of discomfort and was prescribed pain medication,” the rep explains.

Will she compete on Dancing next Monday?

“She is committed to the show and her partner, Dmitry [Chaplin], and will rest when she can. She fully hopes and, at this time, expects to dance on Monday.”

The former Girls Next Door star, and former girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, is the rumored replacement for singer Jewel, whose recent battle with tendinitis of knee has left her ability to compete in question since last week.

Holly’s GND co-star Bridget Marquardt inadvertently confirmed the news while promoting her new Travel Channel show Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches, telling In Touch Weekly: “I don’t know who Holly’s replacing or what happened, but she’s there trying to learn her dance. Of course she’s upset over her breakup, she really liked him a lot, obviously, but I think going on Dancing With the Stars is perfect timing. It’s perfect for her!”

Dancing With The Stars will return to the ballroom on Monday, March 9 @ 8PM on ABC.
