In addition to celebrity guest appearances from David Beckham, Heidi Klum, and Jenny McCarthy, Sesame Street will feature a parody of Disney’s smash movie musical High School Musical, when the 39th season of the children’s classic premieres on public television later this month.
Promotional materials for High School Musical 3 have been vandalized across Australia, with images of HSM star Zac Efron being beheaded and stolen from several cinemas in the Outback.
“We knew there were huge numbers of fanatical High School Musical fans out there but who’d have thought they would go to this extreme?” said Disney publicist Sam Jones. “Zac Efron is currently one of the hottest properties in Hollywood so there is no surprise people here are trying to get a piece of him.”
