Mary-Kate Olsen has released a statement on the death of her “friend” Heath Ledger:
Mary-Kate says:
“Heath was a friend. His death is a tragic loss. My thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time,” she said in a statement her rep released to various news outlets Friday.
Police also intend to ask Mary-Kate why she sent a team of bodyguards to the apartment after receiving calls from the massage therapist, the New York Post reports.
Fox News’ radio personality John Gibson have offered up a lame ass apology for his irresponsible quip following the death of Heath Ledger. On Jan. 22, John opened his radio show with funeral music and mocked a signature line from “Brokeback,” saying, “Well, he found out how to quit you.” Then, after playing another audio clip from the movie of Heath’s character saying, “We’re dead,” Gibson mockingly said, “We’re dead” and played the clip again. The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has declared the radio host’s behavior as “vulgar and disgusting.”
