Heather Mills wants to create her own vegan food line.

The tree-hugging former model, who once encouraged consumers to drink rat milk to help save the environment, is in discussions to launch the brand of meatless and dairy-free meals with meat substitute firm Gardein.

“She will follow it up with a recipe book,” a babbling tattle revealed to the Mail on Sunday.

Heather Mills has donated $1 million in veggie burgers and other vegan food to poor children in the impoverished Hunts Point section of the Bronx-despite the fact that few there know who she is.

The former wife of Sir Paul McCartney helped grill some of the soy “meatless meat” at a community party, where she was named Honorary Chair of the Hunts Point Alliance for Children, on Saturday.

The veggie supplies should last for three years.

A cameo appearance by Heather Mills was cut from the ABC soap Desperate Housewives after series star Eva Longoria-Parker vetoed Mills’ involvement with the show.

Heather’s former publicist Michele Elyzabeth says she once set up a “little cameo” on the show, but the role fell through because Eva was “totally against it.”

“I reckon they saw the chance to get some headlines for the show. But when the stars discussed it, [Longoria Parker] demanded Heather be dropped from consideration,” Elyzabeth says.

“I have been very patient in my dealings with Heather, however, I cannot take anymore. I have given her substantial unpaid time and attention. I am owed money. I refuse to be subjected to her outbursts….On reflection and given the way I have been treated, I now have sympathy with much of what has been reported about her.”

As rumors of a pending divorce surround Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie, the legendary singer has reportedly hired the divorce lawyer who represented Sir Paul McCartney in his bitter battle with ex-wife Heather Mills.

Madonna wants Fiona Shackleton to represent her case against Guy.

“Madonna always seeks out the best in whatever field she is interested in at any given time. Fiona Shackleton is the best,” a source tells the Daily Mail.

“Madonna was impressed by Fiona’s work for Sir Paul and the way she handles herself in the public eye. She is a consummate professional.”

Heather Mills has removed traces of ex-husband Sir Paul McCartney from her iPod. The former model used to rock out to some Paul’s greatest hits, like “Lady Madonna” and “Live And Let Die” while working out, but not anymore.

A friend of Heather’s personal trainer Ben Amigoni told the Daily Express: “Ben said Heather used to have a mix of Paul’s songs as her workout selection. But now she’s deleted all those tracks and has chosen dance tunes to do her routines to. Ben finds it funny.”

The former couple ended a bitter and lengthy earlier this year.
