Actress Hayden Panettiere, the 19-year-old star of NBC’s Heroes, joined teen Ambassador to The Candie’s Foundation, 18-year-old single mother Bristol Palin — daughter of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin — at a town hall meeting on teen pregnancy prevention in New York City on Wednesday, which just happens to be National Teen Pregnancy Awareness Day.
Hayden Panettiere is the latest celebrity lining up to kick her Sunday shoes in an upcoming remake of Footloose.
According to E!, the Heroes hottie recently auditioned for role in Paramount’s revival of the 1984 smash. Hayden isn’t the only small screen star who may join the cast. Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford is the reported favorite for the role of Ren MCormack, originally played by Kevin Bacon.
The home of actress Hayden Panettiere was burglarized last week, TMZ has confirmed. According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, approximately $15,000 worth of jewelry was reported missing from Hayden’s L.A. home on April 15.
The actress, who plays cheerleader Claire Bennett on the NBC sci-fi series Heroes, discovered the robbery when she returned home from a five-day vacation.
There were no signs of forced entry and no arrests have been made.
