The beautifully-tanned Hayden Panettiere and her lacy little black dress stopped by Letterman last night for the latest stop on the promotional tour for the actress’ new comedy, I Love You, Beth Cooper.
Hayden Panettiere’s character will turn lesbian on NBC’s sci-fi drama Heroes next season, it has been rumored.
The 19-year-old Panettiere will see her screen alter ego, invincible cheerleader Claire Bennet, getting hot and heavy in a same sex romance with her college roommate when season 4 of the action-packed series hits the small screen this fall.
“It’s just girly fun at first,” a source told the Daily Star, “But it might progress into something more serious, it depends how viewers respond.”

Hayden Panettiere has a tattoo that was spelled incorrectly, according to celeb snitch Perez Hilton.
In October, the Heroes star, 19, had the Italian phrase “Vivere senza rimpianti” — meaning “To live without regrets” — etched across her back.
However, the recent bikini-clad images of the actress in a bikini have revealed that the word “rimpianti” has been spelled with an incorrect extra “i!”
