Candie’s will help promote spokesmodel Hayden Panettiere’s first single “Wake Up Call” in a series of the actress’ advetisements for the fashion line this Summer. “Wake Up Call” will be featured on Hayden’s forthcoming debut album from Disney’s Hollywood Records, slated for a 2009 release. Candie’s plans to incorporate Hayden’s new track into the star’s ads for the company, similar to what the brand did with former Candie’s spokesmodel Fergie’s platinum-selling track “Glamorous.” In 2006, Candie’s also featured Hilary Duff’s single “Wake Up” in her promotions for the line. Hayden Panettiere hit Ciprani Restaurant in London on the same night she made an appearance at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

She took home the award for “Best Newcomer” at the awards and spoke out about American drinking laws being “ridiculous.”

“I can buy porn or kill someone in war but I can’t have a glass of wine. If I could change one thing about America, it would be its ridiculous age limits on things. Hayden Panettiere, the eighteen year old Heroes star who famously faced foreign arrest when she participated in a public protest against whale slaughter last year, has launched an eBay auction granting fans the chance to win a private whale-watching lunch date with her. Bidding on Hayden’s Date Auction, which began on Tuesday, will end at 4 p.m E/T on May 30th.
