Thomas Alfredson is on board to direct the movie, which is expected to premiere sometime next year.

“Gwyneth is extremely cool at work. She’s just a step above professional, too snobby,” scoffs one set snitch.

The spy added: “Gwyneth is not friendly to anyone, and tends to make people feel awkward and uncomfortable. She wasn’t outright rude to Scarlett, she just didn’t ever speak to her. Gwyneth went out of her way to avoid Scarlett, and they had zero contact, at Gwyneth’s choosing.”

Gwyn couldn’t even get along with the hair and makeup staff.

“Gwyneth would be very put out if hair and makeup were running behind or things were not on schedule. Usually, nothing was drastically late, but Gwyneth can instantly say something that lets everyone know she is put out.”

According to a source, the crew actually preferred to be around her husband, Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.

“Much of the crew didn’t mind hanging out with her husband, Chris, but if Gwyneth ever came around, they scattered! Chris is so chill and relaxed and she is just the opposite. Chris has been a crew favourite since the filming of the first movie.”

The Real Housewives of New York City’s Bethenny Frankel has continued her verbal tirade against the Oscar-winning screen star, her controversial lifestyle website, and her rumored plans to produce a TV cooking show.

Bethenny, a devoted foodie, is convinced that Gwyneth is the most boring personality to hit the kitchen in recent memory.

“I once watched her show with chef Mario Batali [Spain...On The Road Again]. It was like watching delicious paint dry,” she tells Life & Style Weekly.

“The idea of Gwyneth being the next Julia Child is unthinkable and probably unwatchable,” scoffs Bethenny, a 38-year-old culinary school graduate, who recently launched her own line of Skinnygirl Margaritas. “I’m just not feeling her as the next Rachael Ray, who’s fun, goofy, and a wing-it kind of girl,” she adds.

While the Naturally Thin author agrees with many of the actress’ tips for healthy living, the socialite is quick to point out that most are not realistic for everyone.

“Who can afford holistic doctors, meals at Babbo, cupping sessions and healers?” Bethenny asks. “If I buy my food at Costco and get my hair done for 30 bucks, what’s the average viewer able to afford?”

Gwyneth Paltrow is brushing off reports that she was left fuming after movie producers replaced her with Scarlett Johansson on posters for their upcoming superhero sequel Iron Man 2.

Mickey Rourke and Johansson, both newcomers to the franchise, are featured standing next to series star Robert Downey Jr. in publicity shots released last week, Gwyneth, on the other hand, is absent from the photos.

The actress, who plays Iron Man’s assistant Pepper Potts in the film, was said to be furious after learning the promotional posters feature images of Scarlett as The Black Widow.

A source tells The Sun: “Gwyneth was afraid she’d be upstaged by Scarlett and not being in the campaign was the final straw. She is furious she’s been left out.”

But a spokesperson for the Oscar-winning actress has dismissed the reports: “She was not at all upset.”

Celebrity Feud Alert? We hear Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow haven’t exactly bonded with one another during the filming of their upcoming action sequel Iron Man 2.

Set insiders tell The Sun that Gwyn and Scar are constantly at one another’s throat and the girls’ unspoken feud is creating thick tension on set for the rest of the staff.

“Gwyneth’s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at the halfway point. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.”

A source told the newspaper: “Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come from different worlds and have completely different styles.”

“Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding of the attention of the crew. It’s not a happy set,” the snitch added. “Gwyneth and Scarlett have never been particularly close. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being Scarlett.”
