Goop Goddess Gwyneth Paltrow has plenty of pals urging her to stay in her supposedly strained marriage to Coldplay rocker Chris Martin — but Madonna isn’t one of them!
The Material Girl has reportedly suggested her Oscar-winning bestie send Martin packing following months of rumored strife between the couple. Madge — who separated from ex-hubby Guy Ritchie last year — is certain that with proper guidance, Gwyn can follow in her footsteps and obtain “the perfect divorce, with no squabbling and sharing the children equally.”
A snitch blabs in the Jan. 18 issue of GLOBE’s Loosch Lips Column: “Whenever Gwyneth complains about problems with Chris, Madonna’s solution is she should leave him….Madonna has never liked Chris because he refuses to kiss her butt. The few times they’ve hung out together, their egos clashed big time.”
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been cast as Nicole Kidman’s wife in the new film The Danish Girl, according to Variety. The Iron Man actress will replace fellow Oscar winner Charlize Theron as Greta, in the film adaptation of David Ebershoff’s novel.
Theron recently backed out of the controversial film, loosely based on the life of the first man to undergo a sex change operation. Kidman will play transgender artist Einar Wegener. Wegener underwent groundbreaking surgery to become a woman in 1931 after pretending to be a female model in a series of successful portraits painted by Greta.
Thomas Alfredson is on board to direct the movie, which is expected to premiere sometime next year.
Gwyneth Paltrow was far from friendly on the set of Iron Man 2, if a new scoop from FOX News is to be believed. The Oscar winner, who plays Pepper Potts in the film, is said to have clearly snubbed her co-star Scarlett Johansson — “The Black Widow” — as well as members of the production crew.
“Gwyneth is extremely cool at work. She’s just a step above professional, too snobby,” scoffs one set snitch.
