Gwyneth Paltrow showed her faithful followers at Goop.com how to debone a chicken in a recent video blog — unfortunately not everyone was impressed with the Oscar winner’s moves in the kitchen.
“I’d rather staple my eyelids shut than watch Gwyneth cook,” Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel retorted to The New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher column on Saturday.
The 38-year-old Naturally Thin author/chef — who attended the launch of her bottled Skinnygirl Margaritas at the Montauk Yacht Club in New York over the weekend — predicts a cooking show from Gwyn would be quite “boring” to watch.
“Gwyneth is afraid to [reveal] who she really is – she’s so manhandled by publicists and managers. Her show would be way too boring to watch.”

“Over the years, it’s become a major passion. I think about cooking all the time. It’s what I lie in bed thinking about at night, which is maybe a problem!”

Madonna has enlisted the help of her best friend, Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, in decorating the bedroom where her new adopted daughter Mercy James will live.
Madonna is currently renovating her New York townhouse and has a huge shopping wishlist of toys and decorative items she plans to use to create the perfect fantasyland for the 3-year-old from Malawi.
“Gwyneth has a home in the Hamptons area of New York and Madonna was so impressed with her daughter Apple’s room that she asked her to help her kit out Mercy’s new bedroom,” British tabloid The Sun quoted a source as saying.
On Thursday night, Madame Goop herself hit The Tonight Show couch to talk about her 3 year old son Moses’ love of Jay-Z and being playfully teased on the set of the upcoming film Iron Man 2.
