Did you catch the latest video premiere from pint-sized pop pianist Greyson Chance?

Chance, a 13-year-old musical prodigy, came to the attention of Emmy-winner Ellen DeGeneres after the web fell head over heels for his YouTube cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi.” The clip landed Greyson a deal with DeGeneres’ newly-formed record label and racked up over 33 million views online, earning the teen a place on YouTube’s annual roundup of the Most-Watched Viral Videos of the Year.

On Tuesday, budding music star Greyson Chance performed his debut single, “Waiting Outside the Lines,” for the very first time ever on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The wait is over, Music World: Pop lovers have been given their first taste of Greyson Chance. On Tuesday, Chance premiered his first-ever single, a piano-fused pop track titled “Waiting Out The Lines.” Displaying heavy hints of Greyson’s vocal prowess and his nifty fingerwork on the ivorys, industry bigwigs are hoping the single will not only be Greyson’s first single but also his first big hit.

“The song comes from the heart and I hope and pray that my fans can use it to ‘escape’ from all the pressures of life,” Chance explains. “I can’t wait for everyone to take this journey with me.”
