T.R. Knight is returning to TV: The actor’s been keeping busy on the stage since departing his role as Dr. George O’Malley on Grey’s Anatomy in 2009, but he was recently tapped to guest star on a fall episode of the NBC crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU). Knight’ll play a suspected serial rapist who insists that he is innocent despite the evidence against him. The Law & Order gig will be Knight’s first television job since he asked to written off the popular medical drama.
